Biography

Krista Lee is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Elementary Education, and a M.S. in Curriculum Development and Instruction.  Krista taught in the Knox County School system for eight years before choosing to stay home with her children.  She feels thrilled to be a part of the dynamic staff found at St. John's Lutheran Church, and has been a member of St. John's Lutheran Church for over 15 years.  A life long Lutheran, Krista was baptized at Our Savior Lutheran in Johnson City, TN and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran in Chattanooga.  She has a God given passion to facilitate with any activity that encourages all the members of St. John's Lutheran Church from the youngest members to the oldest, to grow in their spiritual development and Christian Education.

Krista is a passionate volunteer for the Knoxville community reflected in her recent service as the President of Junior League of Knoxville, an alumni member of the Leadership Knoxville class of 1998, and a parent volunteer for her childrens' school.

Krista and her husband, Dan were married at St. John's Lutheran Church in 1993.  Their elementary aged children, Ryan and Anna Beth, have joyfully walked through the Stepping Stones of Faith through their baptism, 1^st communion, Christian Education, and Family Ministries activities.  Krista enjoys traveling, family fun, and gal-pal shopping events!
