Biography

Mindy Abell is the Communications Specialist at St. John's Lutheran Church.  She is the "go to" person for all things technical and computer related.  Her expertise includes designing and editing the St. John's Lutheran Church newsletter, the Lutheran Life, maintaining the website, managing the St. John's social network sites, and promoting the mission and programs of St. John's. 

Mindy was born in Denver, Colorado and has lived in Knoxville, TN since 1989.  She is married to Matthew and they are the proud parents of a daughter, Morgan. 

Mindy joined the staff of St. John's Lutheran church in November of 2007.  Prior to that, she served as the administrative assistant in the children's ministry department at an area church, for five years.

Mindy's hobbies include wild changes to her hair, knitting, crocheting, spinning yarn, fishing (even fly fishing), and her favorite:  camping in the Cherokee National Forest.
