Biography

Tom Holladay's relationship with St. John's Lutheran Church began in the 1950's when his uncle L. C. Sparks was called to be the Senior Pastor and his family would visit here from Greeneville, TN. What an amazing opportunity when he was called to be the Facilities Manager some 45 years later.

After graduating from East Tenn State University Tom became an officer in the U.S. Air Force. During his 10 years in the Air Force he and his family lived in Alabama; Tokyo, Japan; Izmir, Turkey and Virginia. After his time in the U.S. Air Force and during a 23 year career with a large company they also lived in Pennsylvania, Texas and Ohio. After early retirement, the Holladay family moved to Knoxville, TN in 1998.

Tom, with his former wife, Joan, has two grown, married children and three wonderful grandchildren.

He feels so blessed to be a member of the community of faith at St. John's Lutheran Church, and to be able to serve it's people.
