Choir
Adult Choir
You are invited to join the choir in singing during Worship at St. John's Lutheran Church. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 - 8:30 pm.

Children's Choir
The children's choir is available to children from ages 4-12, and practices (seasonally) on Sundays from 12:20-1:00 pm.

Worship
Many tasks go into making worship services at St. John's Lutheran Churach a worshipful experience for everyone. Helping with these tasks is a great way to build relationships and find community.

Altar Guild
The Altar Guild is comprised of individuals who prepare the altar for each worship service. This includes preparing the elements for Communion and maintaining candles used during worship. Preparations take place on Saturday and between services on Sunday.
Worship Assistants
Crucifer
The Crucifer carries the cross into the sanctuary during the processional.
Acolyte
The Acolyte lights the candles used during worship and destributes the offering plates.
Lector
The Lector reads the appointed Scripture text for the day.
Usher
The Usher greets members and guests as they enter the sanctuary, distributes the bulletin, assists with seating, and collects the offering.
Communion Presenter
The Communion Presenter brings the wine and bread to the altar for Communion.
Communion Assistant
The Communion Assistant assist the pastors in distributing the wine and bread during Communion.
Audio/Visual
The audio/visual assistant assists with the sound system used during worship services.
